Founded in 2020, Smiling Veterans began with a mission to provide life-changing health care to individuals facing extreme hardship, including veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, and people experiencing homelessness. As Dr. Rashti treated patients who had endured years of pain and neglect, she recognized that treatment was only one piece of the puzzle. To truly restore health and dignity, people also need access to mental health support, housing, job opportunities, and ongoing medical care. Today, Smiling Veterans has evolved into a full-service organization committed to rebuilding lives from the ground up. Leveraging Dr. Rashti’s expertise as a Full Reconstructive Dental Specialist, along with a growing network of healthcare professionals, community partners, and donors, the foundation offers a holistic approach, helping individuals heal physically, emotionally, and financially.
